AV (Audio Video) Servers bridge analog cameras with the digital video systems. AV Servers afford the opportunity to take advantage of existing cameras, while improving their overall feature set by adding virtually all of the features of our IP Cameras. iCanTek products use embedded video web servers, therefore, they do not need a PC for transmitting video and audio across networks. With sufficient network privileges, users may access video with synchronized audio from anywhere on the network.
Each server has standard BNC camera input(s) for converting analog video to streaming MPEG-4 digital video. Additionally each sever has a corresponding audio(mic/line) input port(s). Each video channel also has associated discreet alarm input(s). All iCanTek AV Servers support multiple major brands of Pan/Tilt/Zoom Cameras through an RS-485 port. For a complete list of supported Pan/Tilt/Zoom Cameras, see our technical support section.
iCanTek servers are accessed through Microsoft Internet Explorer (browser), or our powerful video management applications. The network video management applications deliver powerful, performance driven features, affording the ability to record video at higher resolution and frame rates than DVR's. To access an iCanTek server through internet explorer simply type: http://192.168.1.101 (where 192.168.1.101 is the IP address of the camera/server).
Optional flash memory for local storage.
We offer optional flash memory module for recording the video and audio data from the IP camera and video server products. The data stored in the flash memory can be downloaded or played back by a client connected over the network. Calculate the size of the storage requirement by applying your needs (bit rate and recording mode) for optimal choice of the flash memory module. 2, 4, 8, and 16 Gbyte modules are available for you selection.
